Freezing Rain is Coming

I hear we are in for more nasty weather...so much so that we all got our paychecks a day early. Yeah! I'm baking pies for the goodie tray in the teacher's lounge for tomorrow but I may not be in school so we'll see. We may just have to eat them at home.

I have been doing major shopping and have most of the goodies for you girls. I invited Aunt Molly and crew to our house on Christmas Eve during the day but she declined saying that she would catch up with me later in the week. So far I have no plans for either day. Since that didn't work out, please let me know if you would rather open gifts on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning. Maybe it would be a good idea to coordinate this with your father's plans. I don't really care so let's work around your schedules. I am making oyster stew and chicken noodle soup for Christmas Eve, so you are welcome to join me. Just let me know so I know how much food to prepare.

We take our final exams before Christmas and our last day is December 21. I will be off until Jan 4. What a nice holiday!

Snow, snow everywhere!

On the way to school this morning, I saw 5 cars in the ditch and evidence of several others that had already been pulled out. It was worse north of Sprinfield, but it always is.

Just read that you are not going to Meg's party, Jess. Didn't want to comment there. Is something up?

Last night, Sassy came to live with us for a few weeks. Aunt Molly certainly has her hands full driving to Chicago this morning for her first day of work.
