In Ireland, look at the curly short hair!!!

"Her name was McGill, and she called herself Lill but everyone knew her as Nancy"

The Allstate boys joined us for dinner at O'Charley's for Rachel's birthday and had a good meal. I miss having the sisters around for the birthdays. Sarah, I want to take you out...maybe the next time I'm in Bloomington. Yes, Jessie, you are getting older. Hard to believe that the little girl who used to say "He doing?" is going to be 24. Rachel called and said that she got her car back. She says it drives a LOT better. I'm hoping it is safe now. Still haven't had the court hearing, don't know what is happening. Rachel's vocational teacher entered her in the WYSE (Worldwide Youth Science and Engineering) competition and she won!!!! The Glenwood team got a third and Rachel won her category, Engineering Graphics, coming in first over 200 other competitors. She goes on to the next level (I don't know when), in Edwardsville. Tomorrow the flowers get delivered and we get to mess with them all afternoon. Being around tons of roses is not such a bad way to spend the day. The Second Floor Psychos are going to help me with the job, since all but one are in Beta Club anyway. Tomorrow is J's and my anniversary. Hard to believe that we were married on this day 9 years ago.

Birthdays everywhere

We'll be going out to dinner for Rach's birthday tonight. Too bad you sisters are not here, you could join us. We spent a nice weekend in St. Louis with friends. Went to Soulard Market, ate at 1860's Hard Shell Cafe, went to the botanical garden (mostly staying indoors) The camelia's were in bloom and there is an orchid show...very impressive. Always something going on there. Molly's basement is just about done and then the house goes on the market. They have found a house and are making final arrangements for closing. I guess she is finally leaving Springfield, something I thought I would never see. Valentine's Day coming up. It always used to be my favorite holiday. Our Beta club is selling roses. Last year we sold 1200. That's a lot of petals!
